We visited Anaktorikon Hotel just for one night as my cousin was getting married in a nearby Greek village and this was one of the only hotels available to us. First impressions are not so bad, clean, interesting architecture, high ceilings.
However, when we arrived back from the wedding we were not told their was a nightclub/bar RIGHT next door and we were kept up till 4am. I went downstairs to speak to the night manager and he said 'I told you', however the only thing he had told us was that there was a 'coffee shop' opposite. Nothing about pounding house music till dawn! He told me he couldn't move us and then on top of it lied and told me the music would stop in an hour (2am). At 4am I came back down as the music was even louder and he had left for the night!
The next morning I confronted the day manager and she still insisted we pay the full amount. I refused to pay this amount and found the customer service awful. This is by far the worst service I have ever received from a hotel. The rooms were 70 Euro a night! It wasn't even cheap. If you don't mind sleeping next to a speaker then book this hotel otherwise stay FAR away!
