5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Worderul views from the rooms: you can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunset of the greece and sleep rocking by the sound of the sea. The rooms are very confortable. The breackfast is abundant and can satisfy any request. If you like to spend your day without moving too far, you can enjoy the swimming pool, the beach (just below your room) and a very good restaurant service. If you want to visit the neighbourhood of Patras, you can easily take a local train just 3 minutes from the hotel.

Room Tip: You can ask for sea-view or mountain-view rooms.

Its all about expectations at the end of the day. Perhaps that's why I came away from this place quite liking it after reading some of my fellow travellers' reviews.

Its like a three star done really well. Its been done up recently so it feels fresh, but it ain't boutique. Everything worked ok, including the wifi which was free. The location is really quite nice, with a big infinity pool and an amazing vista over the Gulf of Corinth which literally starts at the front of the huge lawn in front of the hotel and the magnificent bridge behind it. Dinner was very good I thought. Breakfast was well above average. Air con worked fine. Staff were friendly enough.

Its not a luxury hotel, but if I was visiting Patra again, I'd be very happy stay here again.

Room Tip: Seaview room - amazing view.

I’ve stayed at the hotel with my friend for two nights. We were very unpleasant surprised by our room, the room was dirty, no pillow cases, dirty sheets no towels and the carpet in the room was stained in many places.

Before booking the hotel we have checked the photos of the hotels on the website and unfortunately do not correspond at all with what we found and considering that it is a 4 star hotel we were expecting to be everything spotless.

It's a rather big and nicely appointed hotel that could act as a convention center. The rooms were of your regular size, no more no less, but interior was more modern than some other hotels we stayed in Greece. Breakfast was your standard venue indistinguishable from other greek hotels and completely missable. The beach is quite nice, most locals from Patras come there to enjoy it. There's plenty of parking for those travelling by car.
There are a few problems with this place. First of all, the address that is given here and on various booking sites is incomplete. I've tried several navigation programs and none could find the hotel were it supposed to be. I had to call the hotel and find out their street address (Milou 44), for some reason they refuse to put it down to help guests find it.
Neighborhood is somewhat upscale, but there are a lot of dogs behind fenses, so walking around could be accompanied by a lot of barking. There's an absolutely delightful restaurant 2 blocks from the hotel, previously called "Moypagio" (Phemistokleous 8). The best food we ate in Greece so far.
Elevators are rather small and two people with luggage can barely fit inside.

Room Tip: Ask for a seaside facing room

We were travelling from Lefkas to Nafplio by car and stopped off for one night only en-route. As with other hotels from this chain, we found it modern and clean with good service. There was secure, free parking on site and the hotel is close to the beach. Our room had great views of the bridge. Dinner and breakfast were good and prices very reasonable. Would recommend it if you are in the vicinity.

We stayed one night in Achaia Beach Hotel. We could find a room for three people at the price of a two bed room. Thanks a lot!
The wifi was without extra charge and reached in every corner of the hotel! Breakfast was very good. A big choice of things to eat!
The beach is right next to the hotel, but we were'nt there during the day. You have a beautiful view to the big bridge in Rio! Also there are a lot of parking slots, so no problem if you're with the car!
The bathroom was also very clean and bright lighted!
Enjoy your stay!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

We stayed at the Achaia Beach in August 2012. We found the hotel to be a 3 star second-rater.

The room was very plain, neither roomy nor crowded. When we entered the room, it was adequately clean, but the daily house keeping was very basic. Free wi-fi was available inside the room. The bathroom was clean and roomy.

The reception staff were polite and efficient, so were the pool-bartender. The pool area is lovely but the really deep square pool might become dangerous for young children.

The breakfast was poor, both in variety and quality. We skipped breakfast twice and had tyropita (cheese-pie) at a nearby bakery instead.

Lovely view of the Rio Bridge from the room balcony. If you do not mind the 13 euro toll, visit Nafpaktos across the bridge. The coast before the city castle is ideal for families with young children. One can have coffee or a great meal on the coast while the children take their swim or play at the numerous playgrounds.
