I stayed at Davitel Tobacco Hotel for one week in March 2005. The hotel opened in August 2004 and is very nice and clean, with friendly and efficient staff. I stayed in a single room but the room was spacious and had a comfortable queen size bed. Room, bathroom, and reception area marble tiled. The hotel is located a 10-15 minutes walk from the main shopping streets and the port. I am very pleased with both facilities and staff at the Tobacco hotel, but missed one thing - there was not enough privacy. The wall between my room and the hallway seemed to be fairly thin and from time to time I could hear people walking and talking in the hallway. My overall impression is all the same that the Tobacco is well worth a stay ? it is a great hotel and gives you good value for your money. I will definitely stay there if I go back to Thessaloniki.
