Located near the courts of Thessaloniki and the so called "barrister neighbourhood ", Sempriko is a great place for meals after work. However, it is also near the center if you're on a walking tour and very near the port. You would expect just the traditional Greek " mezedes" and bulk wine combination sort of atmosphere but believe me!it's much more than that! You can see the ruins of the Wall surrounding Thessaloniki in the Byzantine times just outside Sempriko. As you walk in, there is a hall prior to the resaturant, which serves both as a small delicatessen shop and as storage of the fresh goods. It immediately opens its heart to you...just like the small place everyone knows in their greek village. The delicious plates are served by the friendliest and warmest guys. My personal favourite: Rib steak marinated in pomegranate glaze. WOW!!!! Don't underestimate the yeast bread! and Salads appeared to be great as well! prices were very reasonable and the servings lived more than up to our expectations: they were huge! You can easily share one plate with another person! In the mornings it also works as a cafeteria!
It is open on
Mondays: 19:00 – 00:00 and
Tuesday-Sunday : 08:00 – 01:00
