“amazing cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

my secod tiime in the city bu my first in this restaurant. the local has unique decoration, and every thing has its story.for example,i asked the manager about the wc door and he informed me that is from early 1900s and they restored it.
we sat in a table under garcia lorca and frida calho, two framed pictures. What ever you order,do not miss the shrimps! never tasted like this before.and the service was professional and kind.
we also ordered salads, the one that i liked most was the beetroot salad with bacon and smashed almond!
generally we had a lunch with tasty plates in a friendly price. i liked very much this restaurant.

“a hidden gem of flavours!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

By luck we found this restaurant, having a walk in the centre of the city. The restaurant is situated in a hot spot, upper ladadika, full of restaurants and cafes, maybe the best place in town for a lunch or a dinner.
Akadimia has a european air in decoration, special and well cared.
For starter we had a green salad with grilled vegetables and a baked greek cheese "called manouri",in a yogurt sauce ,do not miss it,generally i love the greek cheese, also had another one cheese from goat and had a spicy flavor,it was fried and had sesami.also recommended. For the main menu I picked the squirt in a pesto sauce and greek herbs chaute. The other main plate was the most amazing way to cook shrimps!! ok,just try it!shrimps in "kantaifi" rolled in a soursweet sauce, what can i say!
A white wine accompagnied our lunch, the owner proposed us "Arvanitis" white wine an organic faming, and it was nice.
definitely i won't forget the sense of tasting these combinations!

“The best restaurant in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Akadimia is the tastiest restaurant in town. The staff are very friendly and the owners Kostas & Kostas (The Chef) will immediately be happy to assist your every requirement. The wine was simply amazing and the portions are very satisfactory. At the back there is an open air area that makes your imagine travel and makes you forget you are in the city center. Kostas and Kostas congratulations for the excellent quality of food and aesthetics as well as the value for money prices.
