All public spaces need a makeover. The food quality and selection was not the best you can find. But, the rooms were very good. Once you cross the door to your room you are in a 4 * Hotel again. Location is great, the train station is a 3 minute walk and the town center a couple of bus stops away.
Staff were polite enough, but not the absolute best that I ever encountered. They were all OK ...
