“Exellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

We had exellent vacation in Met Hotel. we were their for a family vacation - 6 days on September 2013. 2 years ago we have been at the Met -me and my husband and me, we have great time and this year we decided to come again with our adult children. the last time was even better than the first, our children fell inlove with the Met. The Met design is uniqe, the Met staff, the food (specialy the breakfast) the failities - the gym and Spa - the best we ever seen, the pampered rooms, the uniqe bath- you want to spend mach more at it.. the Met staff is so service oriented everywere.at the reception,at the restarant we most say even the manager of the Met helped us by suggesting, ordering place for us he even drive with his car infront of our car just to bring us to the location of restorant in Tsaloniki. the restarant and the lobby and the room service of the Met have unusual, healty and great menu for evryone - we realy enjoy at meals. the location is few minuth from the city, not noisy and the Met have a free parking. The Met hotel is the best place for vacation and rest.
I'm sure we will come again, and now we recomend our freins to come.

The Met Hotel is the exception to the rule that city hotels are usually old fashioned and of mediocre quality. Here stunning modern interior and exterior design, original modern art installations meet with ergonomic rooms and a relaxing atmosphere. A highly trained staff, two high quality albeit a little pricey restaurants, a trully five star breakfast based on organic first materials and local delicacies set the scene for a hotel which is somewhat far from the city centre but then this is compensated by the shutte bus which takes you to the city centre and back allmost very hour. Both drivers were committed to their job and were always willing to answer my questions about the city and the sights. The icing on the cake is the rooftop swimming pool with 360 breathtaking view of the city and the spa with the indoor pool. The MET is ideal for conventions and weekend getaways but iti is also, as in my case, the best place to stay if you want to explore the city and at the same time go on short excursions as it is close to the ring road and the national road both of which are easily accessed without having to worry about the city centre congestion. All in all my family had a great 7 day stay during which we enjoyed both the city and ecursions to Halkidiki and other destinations.
I highly recommend it for a city stay or as a basis for daily excursions.

Wonderful hotel next to the port of Thessaloniki. It is not such a good neighborhood but the hotel is one of the best you can find.

Very modern, interesting design, luxurious rooms, excellent restaurants and an amazing breakfast. It was almost like a brunch. I really loved the different outlets but mostly the Bar for its coctails and the Asian restaurant. The personnel is very professional and in general it really worths a stay. It's a unique experience especially if you are an art lover, every corner is special.

A GREAT hotel in every way! Very modern & sleek decor with prompt & friendly staff to make you stay even more comfortable. The only down side is that the location is in a dodgy area but you quickly forget about that when you immerse yourself in the grounds of the hotel, with its great facilities such as their foof top pool, breakfast buffet, bussiness center & not to mention an in house ATM machine within the hotel at you disposal...it should be called Met city not hotel! It is still coveniently only a 20min walk to the city centre which you can easily do during the day but would not attempt it at night, but they do have a bus shuttle service to help out with that. The rooms are generous & well presented, espeacially the bathroom with its great pressured shower head & salon power hair dryer along with faboulous house keeping staff to maintain that level of comfort during you stay. I am looking forward to my return stay whenever I decide to go back to Thessaloniki which I will hope to be in the near future.

We always stay at the Met, since it was renovated, though it is far from the commercial center of Thessaloniki. The quality of the Hotel can only be compared to the most renown in the world, such as, The Metropolitan in London, 4 Seasons in New York etc., only in a smaller scale. If you can afford it, book a Junior suite with sea view, as the regular rooms are rather small. the breakfast is great, the bar good and the asian restaurant good. The decoration is great and really exquisite!! Friendly service and very helpful reception.
