Never stayed same hotel till we found this one, brilliant staff is what makes this hotel along with the food and location.
We have traveled all over the world but have never experienced such a warm welcome as this louis hotel and will be back time and time again hopefully.
Best wishes to the manager and all his staff.

Do not be taken in by the photos on the webb site. We arrived at the hotel on the 9th of October for what we thought was going to be 10 days of 4 star luxury. What ajoke. The hotel is the worst we have ever stayed in , it is no more than a Pontins Holiday camp. It should never be rated as a 4 star holel at a push it is no more than a 2 star. The rooms are grubby with paper falling of the walls and we were told that they have a problem with condensation, that is why the rooms smell of damp and the small wardrode was mouldy. We had to change rooms three times. There are no tea or coffee making in the rooms and they charge 5 euros for two luke warm coffees in plastic cups. The food is mass produced slop all cold and covered with flies, lots of people went down with sickness during our 10 day stay. The indoor pool is no bigger than a splash pool and they have a pool table with one broken que. The hotel is situated on a steep hill and the management have put a wall and fencing all the way around it so that clients cannot get to the small bars and tavervas on the outskirts, lucky for us we found a whole in the wire netting so we were able to escape. As for the curtesy bus forget it. Please take my advise DO NOT go to this hotel. We have never been to a hotel before where people were spraying the seats in the bar before sitting on them for fear of getting bitten by bugs. Thank god the weather good and we were outside as much as possible. I so pleased to be home,
Anne Jackson Camber Sands.

“very Disappointed”

Louis Palazzo di Zante Hotel

Booked this hotel as a part of a last min deal through teletext holidays and it wasn't what I expected at all.

When booking the holiday the rep advised me to check out the website for the hotel, and it looked fantastic - and I took the offer straight away - all inclusive 4 star hotel - what more could I ask for.

On arrival in reception the hotel looked good, very well laid out and friendly receptionist. I had paid for a pool view room, but on arrival was told the hotel was fully booked and i would have to settle for a garden view.

Got into my room and it was the darkest dingested hotel room I had ever stayed in. It was carpeted (expected it to be tiled), the carpet was very grubby, and the decor was very dark, had blue wallpaper - even the lights didn't seem to brighten the room up. The bathroom was also very dark, had mould on the tiles and a very dangerous tap that seemed to heat up to a very high temp every time you turned the hot water tap on. The view from the room wasn't a garden view at all, it was more like a jungle view (was not maintained at all). We were right next to a lift, and every time someone used it, you could hear it quite loudly in the room.

Not impressed with the room i went back to reception to see if we could be moved once other guest's had checked out, only to be told that I had to come down to reception the following morning at 10am to see if there was anything they could do. Did this four mornings in a row and gave up in the end as I kept hitting a brick wall. (even though I knew people were checking out, I kept getting told they were fully booked!)

Anyway it was the room more than anything else that let us down. The hotel itself wasn't bad, food got a bit repetitive and boring after a while. Waiters seemed a it rude, wanted to clean the table before we had finished our meal and you almost had to fight them for your plate back!! Kids entertainment was good, but it was the same thing every night and in the end my daughter got sick of it.

The nearest town was 20 mins away, there was one shop in the hotel and prices were very high!! There wasn't much you could do during the day as there was nothing near by!

I fully agree with all the other disappointing reviews that have been posted. It shouldn't be classed as a 4 star hotel, it doesn’t meet the expectations!

Don’t be sucked in by the pictures of the hotel, trust me I’ve been there, and will definitely not be going back!!

This was the first time I was out of America. My experience with Greece and this hotel was beyond excellent. The room was perfect and very clean. The staff was very helpful and always smiling. My daughter and I made many friends and if we ever have the opportunity to return I plan on staying at this same hotel. We miss the friends we made there. The entertainment they provided during our stay was a lot of fun. Hi Alan, Debbie, Dani and Lokta....if I have your names spelled wrong, please forgive me. The crew at the pool refreshment area were so nice to us as well. We miss you all and consider this hotel our home away from home. The food was unbelievable and I must thank the chef personally. Thank you so much for a wonderful 2 weeks. Zakynthos is a beautiful Island and the people that live there are very kind and sweet. Be very proud of your hotel and the people that work there. I have done nothing, but recommend you to everyone I know.

We stayed a week this june and had a good time. The hotel is well equiped and with the sister hotels next door there is plenty to walk round and see. They have their own beach which is a down a lot of steps, although there is a lift.

The room was fine and the food (we were half board) was plentiful if a bit boring.

The hotel is good if you want to laze by the pool or a beach to soak up the rays. Given this you would not need to stir yourself. Personally I got a little bored so hired a car and saw other parts of the island, which I thought was better than Minorca or Ibiza.

Any downsides ? Beds hard, lots of stairs if you are on the upper levels but otherwise for the money we were happy.
