“Lovely friendly place to stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

I stayed here with my family a good few years back, but i will never forget the trip, there was me, my dad, step mum, brother, two cousins, their parents, and our grandparents. We had 3 apartments, all of which were to a high standard and very clean. The shower wasn't the best at all honest, it was a dribble of cold water and I did find a lizard in my shower one day, but we're abroad so that was inevitable. Bathroom needed updating was dark with only a small window at the top and cracked tiles. The rooms were lovely. Maid or Spiros would hand me or my grandma a flower every day without fail. They were so lovely and friendly and treated us like part of the family. For us younger ones there wasn't much appeal outside of the hotel, beach was nice, but we stayed for two weeks and there wasn't much to do but walk around a very small town so took a few excersions to water parks etc. The staff make the holiday to be honest, I still have my spiros number one blue vest top for the good memories. I would strongly recommend. We went self catering, so can't comment on food.

Having stayed in various apartment complexes within Greece and her Islands, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Spiros Apartments in relation to the price being at the lower end of the market.
George and Leah were very welcoming at the outset. Their Greek night food and entertainment was really good.
The apartments were a little way from the centre of Sidari, which we liked as it was extremely peaceful. We enjoyed the walk into the main strip which had plenty of restaurants and tribute acts on a nightly basis.
Also thoroughly enjoyed the Greek food at local tavernas. For those not adventurous with food, there are lots of other cuisines available. All were reasonably priced.
In the future, when travelling to Corfu again, I will definitely return to the Spiros Apartments.

Room Tip: We asked for a room away from the pool area, which was met. Think it could get a bit noisy as some...

We stayed in July 2012 for two weeks, and was our first visit to Corfu.
All the way through our stay, George, Leah and Ria made us feel very welcome. As it was my birthday while we were on holiday Ria gave me some flowers and put them in our room, which was lovely. Everyone one who worked at the hotel were lovely and worked hard to make sure that our stay was enjoyable;which it was. The pool at the hotel was lovely and clean, it was also big so it didn't get over crowded. There were enough sunbeds around the pool which meant that we didn't have to get up early and reserve them like we have had to in all of the hotels that we have stayed at before. Evening entertainment while we were there was greek night, the dancing and food was fabulous, and definitely worth the money. Everybody had a great time.
The apartments was located about 15-20 minute walk to the beach, where there were plenty of good restaurants and bars. We would definitely visit again. Thanks for a great stay from the Tinker family.

This is the 8th time we have stayed here since finding it, by chance, in September 2005. And what a find it was ! Jackpot joy! We try to stay here twice a year but because it's so popular we've not always been able to get in. Over the last 2 - 3 years we secure our reservations early to make sure that we get to stay here. My wife and I have stayed in other nice apartments in Sidari but Spiros Apartments definitely tops the list for us.
Located in a quieter part of the countryside, it's situated about a mile from the centre of Sidari and it has all the facilities you need. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, beach and shops are only a short walk away.
The hosts, George and Evagalia ( Lia for short ) are very friendly, extremely welcoming and are quite willing to do all they can to ensure that your time there is as pleasurable and hassle-free as possible. They work very hard, as do their staff ( Ria, Evelyn et al ), to make certain that everyone there has a lovely and really enjoyable time.
All apartment blocks are kept very clean, the bar and restaurant is large and spacious with excellent food and drink at very reasonable prices.
We often see the same customers year after year who, like us, get hooked and always try to re-visit because they've enjoyed it so much. We've had a fabulous 3 weeks at Spiros Apartments and, guess what, we're going back for another 3 weeks in September 2012.
Can't beat it ! Great for couples and families !

Room Tip: As room numbers go higher this increases the distance from the bar/restaurant.

We stayed here for two weeks in June 2011, George and Leah were great and very warm and welcoming. We had a blast and we met some great people.

The food was lovely and reasonably priced and the rooms were great.

The apartments were away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Sidari which was great (esp if you had a hangover and needed some quiet time lol)

Ria was an absolute delight and done everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Would love to get back here sometime soon.

Room Tip: try get a studio at the back of the complex on the bottom floor

Yet another fantastic week at Spiros, this place never fails to deliver ! We were met by George at 2.30 am, and yes they still carry the cases for you ! The apartment was spotless and well equipped for our needs. The pool was sparkling as usual and Lia does the best breakfast on the Island ! Nothing is ever too much trouble for George and Lia, if you need anything you only have to ask, and it happens, a real home from home. The cleaner does a magnificent job as well.
Many Thanks to George and Lia for an amazing wedding anniversary and birthday week, Im checking flights now, see you next year !

Room Tip: Opt for a high floor ! Ground floor rooms are very close to the pool

My girlfriend and I visited here last year end of June early July. The apartment was basic but nice for what you pay and pretty spacious for what we have had in Greece in previous years. One thing I will say is that George and Leah were brilliant. Lovely lovely people! Did all they could to help whenever they could and on many occasions gave us free drinks at the bar or didn't charge us wha they should :) Also the cleaning lady was the happiest person we've ever met! She was great! So happy bless her. Made our day seeing her! The food was also great at the apartments. The best thing tho was that you got a free fan in the room and also free safe down in the bar area. Usually you pay so much extra for these things so we were so grateful we had the included. Leah and George hold the safe keys which some pol may not like but after the first day you get over it and realise all will be fine! Pool was lovely. Not as quite as it looks at first as cars do stream past the road next to the apartments quite a bit but that didn't bother me personally. Sidari itself is a lovely resort. We didn't think so at first...we thought it was small compared to Tsilivi and Tingaki but we made one small error which we didn't realise until day 3...we thought all the restaurants and tavernas were a bit small and didn't look very nice...what we didn't see was they on the town side they were mainly bars but if you go in and walk through they are two sided and the second half of most of them open up onto the beach! If you look at them from the beach you will see lovely restaurants and have amazing sunsets to watch as you eat! It's a bargain two for one as most are great places to eat that turn into trendy bars in th evening. After out two weeks we agreed this was the best Greek resort we had been to (and we have been to about 6 or more between us!). Overall a great holiday, great food, great weather, great prices and great apartments with lovely people. Recommend thoroughly!!! :)
