My family and I stayed here in 2005 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Yannis,Alex & Nico all made us feel very welcome and tended to our every need with excellent service.The hotel is in a fantastic location close to the beach and the main shopping facilities where there are some excellent restaurants to choose from.The only complaint we had was the number of mosquitos around but this was dealt with using the usual remedies and was only present as the Messonghi river runs to the sea nearby.

we have been going to the seabird on and off the past 15 years and have spent great holidays there the hotel has grown over the years but has not lost its friendliness always a lovely welcome as if you are a long lost relation we have already booked for next year

Quite basic hotel. Everybody who is thinking about going to this hotel must know:
-Air condition is not included in the price, you have to pay an extra 6 euro per day supplement.
-Rooms have no TV
-Quite noisy hotel, specially by night, due to its location near to a secondary but very busy road
-Breakfast is schematic.
-No buffet on half board; just one "take it or leave it" menu. Some days it was fine, but some days definitely not. All beverages not included, must be paid appart.
-Very small pool.
-Big rooms, but not so clean. Very few light at the bathroom, with no electricity plug. Unpleasant sheets.

In spite of this:
-Good location, very near to the beach and to Moraitika town, with lots of tabernas, car-hire and supermarkets, .
-Familiar ambient. Friendly service.

Would I come back? For the money I paid, NO.

We have stayed at the Seabird Hotel for many years, not once have we been disapointed. This hotel has a warm feel about it, anything you need it is always there. The hospitality the food and the whole atmosphere makes you feel that you are really on holiday in greece. This hotel has everything you need eg private swimmingpool, good food and a bar which includes great characters ie Yannis, Alex and Nico whom will serve and entertain you well throught your stay.
