“Great!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2011

We had an excellent time here.. The bar staff were great, I miss them!!! Apartments are lovely and clean in a perfect location.. Nice and quiet but only a 2 minute walk to the hustle and bustle. Apartments are practically on the beach! The pool area is really nice and clean. Only bad point was that we struggled with mosquitos.. I'm not sure if the hotel actually had aircon or not because the owners made some excuse for us not to have it turned on when we did ask. Apart from that it was great!

Just returned from a fantastic week here. Travelled with my husband and 19 and 16 year old daughters and a 16 year old lad. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment with en suite shower room which was ideal. Beds are quite hard! As per previous review I would recommend the air con and we kept the room on for the last day and yes it is definately mossie paradise, I would highly recommend you take plug in's for the rooms and a strong mosquito spray and use it after your shower to go out in the evenings. I would not advise going to this area without taking these especially if you have young children. I sprayed myself every evening and didnt get bitten apart from on the soles of my feet which I didn't think to spray!!! My daughters were a bit lax and didn't spray one evening and boy did they regret it!! This place is ideal for all ages, turn left for a quieter evening and right for the bright lights of the Sidari main strip. The pool is fine but we preferred to go to the beautiful Canal D'Armour area. We loved it and will go back!

Large, comfortable apartment. Had to ask for a kettle the day after arrival and there was no toaster. The shower was permanently flooded and we had to paddle in the bathroom on a daily basis.
Staff friendly enough but do not go out of their way. We had no clean towels for 8 days and I had to go and ask for them to be changed, which they were immediately. Room not cleaned regularly until I asked and we had the same sheets on the beds for the whole two weeks! Saying all this I love Sidari and had an incredible stay. The restaurants are all amazing and only had one bad meal during our two weeks stay, in Memories. Madisons is amazin food and entertainment as was three little pigs and Cactus Jacks.
Beach very close but sunbeds a little expensive on a daily basis. Pool was large and cleaned every night.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find we had been allocated a 2 bedroom appartment for the 4 of us ( 2 teens and 2 adults). The rooms were spacious and the terrace caught the late afternoon sun at about 6pm.
The air-con which was 80 euros for the week was well worth having and we kept the room on the last day for a further 30 euros. We took 2 mosquito plug ins and used a cannnister of mossie spray as it was mossie paradise!!!
We used the company next door Vlaseros travel for 2 trips one to Kassiopi in the evening and one to Paradise beach via the glass bottom boat. Both we felt were good value and passed without incident.
The pool was clean and never busy, the surrounding beaches were quite busy, but the water was clear and shallow.
We ate at Maria's Taverna and La Strada which are both near the Canal d'amour. We had good meals at both where there was a good selection of greek food.
There were plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from in both directions, although most of them had a TV with football or X factor on them!! If you want a lively and long evening clubbing then turn right and walk to the far end of Sidari if you want a slightly quieter evening turn left out of the appartments.

Room Tip: Room 104 is a 2 bed ground floor appartment. If you look left from the terrace you see the pool and...

Good basic apartments. Cleaned daily (except one day missed), all the basics required for a self-catering holiday. Very good location, about as close to the beach as you can get, lots of shops and resteraunts near. Nice pool.
There are severa; travel companys in the area all offering the same tours/day trips. Some of these are great (aqualand, distileray/cave tour) other are not so good (blue caves, paradise beach). Be very wary of Vlaseros Travel (the company next to the apartments), we did several tours with this company and while the tours that went well were fine when there was an issue they were very difficult. We lost one night of our holiday to a shambolic tour that left us on a lost coach for several hours, when we compained we were accused of lying and not offered any refund. With so many companys to choose from service is all important and they failed badly in this area.

Just returned from a weeks stay at Trivizas, travelling with our two teenage children. Did'nt get off to a great start as arrived early morning to find our apartment windows open to all the local mosquitos. However, awoke next morning to a lovely sea view and pleasant surroundings. Apartments were a nice stroll to town centre, or Canal D'Amour area, but were far enough out to be separated from the masses.

Rooms were clean and well appointed and cleaned regularly. Swimming pool was clean and a good size, never crowded. We often went out in the mornings and returned afternoon to find plenty of sunbeds available. Sidari was good value compared to other towns we visited. Average cost of a pint in local bars was 2 euros as were coke/fanta etc. We paid on average 10 euros each for evening meal and drink.

Only downside was we were quoted 80 euros for air conditioning for the week, which we found excessive and did not pay. We managed ok without.

Would go back to Sidari, and would happily stay at Trivizas, but would take plenty of protection from Mosquitos.

Arrived at appartments after booking a single room and was allocated what must have been the largest two bedroom appartment on the site. Large double with en-suite, another large double with own balcony and very large kitchen which also had a spare bed. All rooms immaculate and cleaned almost every day, towels changed every second day. Air condition was more expensive due to the extra rooms 150e for the fortnight , but you couldn't do without it. Management and staff all very friendly. As located just over the road from the beach there was always plenty empty sunbeds at the poolside. Due to tax laws you are unable to consume any food or drink not purchaced from the pool bar around the pool, water ok. The Olympus restaurant on site serves excellent food but at first their prices were extortionate. I spoke to the manager about her prices and she reduced them but had to tell her that she had reduced them too much as the quality of the food was too good to charge so little, hopefully she will come to a price good for everyone. Cactus Jack across the road serves a small breakfast for 1.50e. Although the appartments were ideally located and kept very clean as well as the pool I would not go back to Sidari because of the mosquitos , some people around the pool with over 50 bites and one guest who emailed me on her return home ended up attending hospital for an allergic reaction with over 50 bites and had to go on a course of antibiotics. Lovely holiday lovely people shame about the mossies.
