Owner description: We are proud to be able to handle some of the noblest Greek grape varieties. We aim to produce wines that reflect the uniqueness of the Robola and the other local varieties. We are quite happy to watch over the wines during their formative stage and intervene only when necessary.

“Valley of wine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

I happen to visit the region quite often and love it every time. When you visit take some time to drive around and enjoy the views from the Black Pine forest on Mt. Ainos, the castle of St. George and finally the church of St. Gerasimos the island's holiest of sites. The cooperative is just behind the church and I would suggest the tour that will lead you through the world of nice local wines made here. My personal favorite is the San Gerassimo, a fine yet strong charactered white wine that is worth taking with you back home.

“Boring”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

We were taken here as part of a bus tour round the island. Utterly boring, modernised factory producing wine. No explanation given as to proper wine production principles. Wine nothing special; of course on sale to the punters, nothing cheap. No one there when we arrived.

“Interesting visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

The tour, although not very long, was very interesting (especially the bottling process) and our lady guide spoke knowledgeably and passionately about the winery and it's products as it is owned and run by the local grape growers. The tasting was nice too, and the products available at the end were not overpriced. Worth popping in for an hour or so.

“Worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

We have just returned from kef again .we have been visiting for 14 Years . We visited the robola wine company and experienced a tour which we missed out on the last time . It was very informative and we sampled the wine . Our favourite is the San geriassimo ( the wee mans wine as my husband calls it ) as geriassimo is the saint of the island and his body is in the church next to the winery .The church is worth a visit but cover your shoulders or you will have two little nuns taking offence .Unfortunately the new church is now closed to visitors which was disappointing as it was all hand painted inside and we have seen the transformation throughout the years .Its spectacular insider. The other wine of course is the robola and it is very smooth to drink .If you enjoy rose wine the brilliante is great . Come on folks visit Kefalonia it's well worth a visit especially the winery and the scenery is spectacular

Go and taste Briliante! Very nice rose wine. The tour is also nice and ask to taste the wines if you like to buy.
