Arrived home on Sunday fro a 2 week stay at Villa Andreas. It's difficult to know what to add to our review that hasn't already been said. The place is amazing, great apartments, clean and modern. As said in a previous review, there is water in the fridge when you arrive, washing up liquid, scourer & cloth provided. The cleaners work very hard to keep everything tip top, they even clean the cars for Synthesis Travel, cars are kept opposite Villa Andreas, so very convenient for hire, (great cars, well looked after). Didn't get to meet Bettina as she had to return to Germany, but she should be proud of her staff for keeping everything running smoothly. Kristina worked so hard in the snack bar by the pool and always had a smile on her face. The pool and pool area always spotless. Always plenty of sunbeds free. A 20 minute walk takes you to the beach and into town. Pebble beach, 2 sunbeds and an umbrella were 8 euros. So many restaurants to choose from, we liked the Pizza Restaurant by the Coop Supermarket. Tried Villa Rosa, which was ok, but the food not very hot. Prevolia near Villa Andreas was good, but our favourite restaurant was Dokas on the main road (turn right out of Villa Andreas & past BP Station, until you reach Kordas Supermarket) where you then see Dokas Restaurant. The food is absolutely fantastic, my favourite being the grilled King Prawns. Following our discovery of Dokas we went there for all out meals apart form a couple. Prices of food here excellent and the service was excellent as well, very friendly family run restaurant. Kordas Supermarket has a very good selection of products, and the best lemons we could find (for drinks). They also deliver if you want them to. For convenience, Gregs Supermarket next to Villa Andreas is good. The Coop has a good selection of products but closes earlier than the others, which are open to midnight. The town is buzzing of a night & has a really good atmosphere. The trip to Albania is interesting, but you are on the coach for a while. We hired a car for 2 days, which is worth doing, then you can drive yourself to the Acheron Springs which are well worth a visit, Necromanteon (2 euros entry) and other places. We also (well when I say we, my husband drove) to Ioannina, which was further than we thought and took 2 hours, but worth going to for the lake and to see another part of Greece. Good roads and no one on them, nothing like the M25!. Onto Jackie the Thompson Rep, she has been to Parga for the past few years, so is very knowledgeable about the area, definitely worth going to the welcome meeting. Jackie told us about many things, one of them being Jonny's Bar in town. When you get to the anchor, bear right, right again, then left & left again, its a great place to people watch and enjoy a drink in the evening. All in all a great holiday, we never return to the same place twice & have been to many islands in Greece, but we may consider returning to Parga & Villa Andreas in time..
All the rooms are pool facing, so any room is ok.
