“Very nice host”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014 via mobile

The host was very nice. The food was good, it's traditional tavern food. We wanted to eat fish but they did not have fish(I prefer they say they don't have instead of serving not fresh fish)the wine was not good. The salad was very good. Around 10pm a live band of traditional music came (happens on Saturday and Sunday night only) was really nice to see. A lot of locals came to that restaurant. It was good.

“Lovely balcony restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

The food here is delightful. In my opinion it is better to visit if you are in a group rather than just a couple. The reason being there are so many nice things on the menu, the more people, then the more you can order and then all share and get a taste of many dishes. Not to be missed if on Patmos Island

“Good Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

Upstairs from another restaurant which was initially a bit confusing, view across Patmos harbour and to Monastery. Good food and reasonably priced. Special of the day was grilled Octobus in red sauce, delicious!!

“Traditional Greek food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

The tables are set on a balcony overlooking the harbour and make for a pleasant environment. The menu is modest but covers a wide range of dishes and I had a good filling fish soup made specially for that evening. We ordered a starter which never arrived and we were billed for, but no complaints as we didn't need it anyway. Friendly enough service and good food.

“A truly delicious meal -- one of our very best in Greece!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Among the dishes we ordered were sea snails done with olive oil and rosemary, and grilled squid. Both (and the rest of our order) tasted heavenly: the ingredients clearly high-quality and very fresh, prepared simply, with very generous portions. The grilled calamari, for instance, consisted of two whole squid. Together with a gorgeous setting with a gentle breeze, house red wine served chilled in a carafe, attentive and courteous service, and stimulating company (we met an English author writing a book about St. John, who joined us for a drink at our table), we could have asked for little more to make a perfect meal.
