“Piece of Pork”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2014

This restaurant is on the main drag of Skala, Patmos, and does have atmosphere. The meal was all right and for the fish lovers in our midst it scratched where they itched. I had a set menu with pork roast and salad. One 'No No:' on the next day a man lit of a cigarette inside the restaurant and the management did not stop him; isn't this not allowed in the European Union?

“Unbelievable Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2014

Our group of 16 showed up at the Ostria (on the Skala harbor road, look for the area with trees to the right of the dock, past the main square) and the group leader negotiated a price of 15 US dollars per person for a full meal. We started with appetizers, soup, salad, bread, veggies, then chicken and lamb, followed by small fish, all served family style, all fresh and very tasty We had to get back to the boat due to weather so we could not stay for dessert. Besides we were stuffed. Drink prices were reasonable. When the group leader went to pay, the unbelievable happened. The owner/waiter said, "No, you are paying too much, you did not have dessert!" So we got money back! In a tourist town? This place is worth a visit just to meet honest people.

“Decent enough food, harbour location, but busy road”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

Food was OK, drinks were good value. Harbour side location was nice but a bit busy with all the traffic. Service was polite and efficient.

“Poor quality and a waste of time and money.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013 via mobile

We visited this restaurant in the evening for a late diner. We ordered some tuna, mussels, maridaki and fries. Of all these the only items with some quality was the beer we ordered. The tuna was sliced in a way that made no sense and consequently over cooked. The maridaki was way too small and fried in too much oil leaving a bitter after taste tha lasted throughout the night. The mussles were boiled in an overly thick quasi wine sauce with garlic that filled you up after eating just two of them. The fries were simply forgetable. Something so simple and still they managed to make them mediocre.
