“Weird but brilliant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

This guy is a phenomenal cook.
We've been coming for a long time now and P has never disappointed and never compromised on his food.
Times have been hard and there is almost a self service culture but if you are not stuck up and want good food and a relaxed atmosphere, this is worth a few euros taxi. You have to pour your own wine into the jug (on an honour basis) and clear your own plates but in the meantime, P is cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

“simply the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

there seem to be some misunderstandings concerning the pidagdi, first of all it is still open, thank god and second the food is quite impressive. some innovative changes to keep the price-level have been made but the menue is just as genuine and tasty as i remember it from several years ago.....single opinions might be different, but the average judgement is not exaggerated....the food is far beyond greek island standard. just go and give it a try, it is worthwhile.

“We felt missleaded by other comments in tripadvisor”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

I would not want to disappoint anyone, but ..... the best food in Greece? Why that much exaggeration is beyond my understanding!
The food is ok, for me personally I've eaten such food in countless restaurants in Greece and abroad. Some dishes were ok, some not, but none of the ones we had was something special that cannot be found elsewhere.
What we did not understand was why the kitchen includes from Greek to Chinese food, and why so neglected place! We ate in one corner of the garden with broken, abandoned, etc objects that someones was bored to throw away. Restaurants with 'chef' type kitchen usually do not look like abandoned places.
At least prices were resonable.

“Exellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2011

This must be one of the best restaurants in Greece. I've been travelling around the country for 25 years, and never been served better food. You can taste that everything is made with love and pride. Try the Thabbolueh, marinated swordfish ore pork in chilli - yammi! This is a restaurant with taverna prices.

“also in quality there is space for improvement”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2011

Ever since i have first visited the Pigadi I was impressed by the excellent fresh and light food, the beautiful courtyard, the genuine friendliness of the family kastis, the fact that cats where not chased away. Having returned there i had to find out, that all was as 2 years before, with one difference, even more delicious dishes like a wonderful swordfish carpaccio, a tasteful and light eggplant salad .....excellent and better than ever
