I went to this Hotel on the 5th September with my wife and 2 and half year old daughter. I have done numerous 'All inclusives' all around the world and this one is OK.

Obvioulsy as we went in September it isn't peak season anymore so there were no issues with Sunbeds in good areas around the kids pools etc, we always got where we wanted at around 10:30ish, and it didn't really seem to get busy until 11-12.

The food is Ok for an AI, there was a bit of varietty and always fallback for spag bol and chips if nothing took your fancy.

Our room was spotless, maids cleaned and changed towels everyday, the air con is bit old and could do with replacing.

The actual complex is huge and if you are on the outskirts it is a good 10 minute walk to reception.

The only thing that really needed sorting was the amount of grit in the bottom of the pools, not good under the feet.

This hotel is great for families with kids, not so good for honeymooners or couples.

But at the end of the day a holiday is as good as what you make it.

After reading the reviews before we left for our holiday i have to say i was dreading it. On arrival i was dissapointed when we were taken in a bus to our room but offered no help with our cases which in a 4* HOTEL I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED. The rooms were clean a simply furnished the bathrooms were a little dated and could do with refurbishing but clean , the air con was old but working and we never had a problem the whole 2 weeks. The rooms bedding and towels were changed everyday. The next morning we went to breakfast and had no problem in getting a table and the staff were friendly and there was plenty of variety and it was all fresh and warm to hot. We then went to the main pool and had no problem in getting a bed there was more than enough for everyone and through out the whole holiday that was the case. The hotel was prodomanatly germans and dutch and only about ten percent english but my 3 kids made friends and my kids ages were 10 and 15 and they had a great time. There were 2 or 3 bars by the pool and the staff were frienly and after a few days new exactly what you wanted as you approached the bar. Lunch was busy but again no problem and the food was fresh hot and plenty of it, if anything repetative but that what you get on all inclusive. The evening meals were the same quality and you had a choice of 3 restaurants every evening and without a doubt could find something everyone liked. As a family i would say that this hotel certainly deserves its 4* status with a little refurbishment and certainly doesnt deserve the petty complaints that people made. The reception staff were warm helpful and very friendly. Kos is beautiful island the town is lovely and just a short bus ride from the hotel easy to get thr eand back., We did 3 boat trips and enjoyed them all the people are warm and friendly and they dont try and rip you off. O yes the germans and the other europeans no problems at all at least we were not surrounded by drunken brits getting there moneys worth on the booze. Anybody going to this hotel take no notice of the other reviews and have a good holiday.

A party of 12 of us travelled this included 2 babies, first week was a little dissapointing as it was very German based (which we were not told about) , the second week more British people were there, and it was fab, the pool area was well kept no problem getting sunbeds, prime position every day, lots of activities to do for all ages, yes even oldies can enjoy.
Food was a lot better than i expected it to be.
Animation team was brilliant with the kids, and bar staff were very friendly.
Overall a very relaxing and nice holiday

“disgusting”

The kipriotis village overbooked our party of 9 the day before flying and booked us into a hotel half an hour away even though we had friends and family staying at the the resort. We were offered wristabands to use the hotels faccilities but cost us 60 euros a day to get there and back. Never once got a sunbed as you had to be up at 5 o clock to get a decent spot. The lunch was a mad free for all something you would expect at butlins. Entertainment in the night was awful. Food was disgusting and repeated everyday. Bar staff were rude and arrogant. Friends rooms were so basic im glad we didnt stay there in the end. would never reccomend it. STAY WELL AWAY !

“hotel over booked us and split my family up on our holiday”

Kipriotis Village

Aug 24, 2007

do not book this hotel unless you dont mind paying for it and then being told the night before you travel that its over booked and you have to go elswere, we were a party of 18 but 9 of us were told the night befor that kipriotis is over booked and that we had to stay half an hour away from our family and friends. they offered us wrist bands to use in kipriotis but it cost us 30euros to get there from our hotel. once in the complex its just like a butlins holiday camp you have no chance of a sunbed unless you get there at 4am and then you are packed in like sardines, to eat there is just as caotic you get pushed and shoved wile you try and get to the food which is very bland. kipriotis ruined everyones holiday from the start by taking our money in aug 2006 when we booked it and then telling us 1 day before we were due to fly out that it was over booked, no one at kipriotis seemed to care at all about what had happened they said it happens all the time in aug. so be prepared to have your holiday ruined just like we did if you book this so called 4star hotel, also the staff are the rudest ive ever met and make you feel you should be grateful if they serve you a drink from the bar. the worst holiday ive had in 20yrs.
