“Active volcano”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

Something to see in Santorini, is the active volcano. We took a cable ride 4 euros one way, to the bottom and a boat trip to the volcano, hot spring and Thrissa. Wear comfortable shoes, preferably, sneakers and hat and water. It's 3.5 km to the top. Awesome views. The stop at the hot springs was great. We stop at thrissa for lunch and also we went in city up by donkey ride and came back.

“Different-Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

I was in santorini for a week and i had tha chance to visit the volcano. It is so different and so interesting. It does not look like the others. The island itself is amazing. Stunning! I definately recomend everyone to visit the most beautiful island in the world!

“Lengthy Day”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

The travel package is only worth it if you have time to spare. Expect A LOT of time spent travelling by ship and foot. You need to have very good shoes as the hike up can be considered dangerous if you fall. Prepare to break a sweat because there's a time limit before the ship leaves so you can't take too long slowly walking. The views are very good but nothing spectacular to make you come back.
Warning: Do NOT swim to the hot spring unless you're VERY fit. The ice-cold sea with it's current actually makes the short distance extremely difficult to reach (your chest will tighten from the cold and reduce your stamina greatly).

“Vulcano - a must see in santorini”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013 via mobile

We travelled to the vulcano by a boat trip which included also the hot springs and Thirasia Island. Despite the little time at the principal vulcano Island, it was worth the money -30 euro. That should be warned though that you must be in good shape to climb to the top so fast. Luckly there's a folder when you arrive at the land, so even if you arrive late and miss the guide explanation, you don't miss the trip at all.
