A lovely family run hotel but I did find the apartments were a little on the small side. We stayed at one of the bigger apartments catering for 2-4 people but I found that our party (2 adults and 1 small child) was a little cramped. There were quiet a few hazards for the little ones like..sharp marble corners on the shower, and a metal spike on the patio doors coming from the floor (we managed to put a cork on it so no accidents!).
The rooms were tidied nearly every day apart from a Sunday which was brilliant.
The only problem was that sitting around the gorgeous pool you could not eat or drink anything you hadn't bought at the pool bar which was a bit of a pain. The beach (just 10 seconds walk away) was lovely but VERY very hot as the tiny pebbles/shingle are black and attract the heat from the sun. There are restaurtants everywhere (best ones were in our view were Paragolos and Baybees) and only 1 or 2 mini markets (and I mean mini).
You can't really buy any gifts until you walk to Perrisa (20-25 mins walk). Be warned there are no taxis at all (we saw 2 in 2 weeks!) so be careful coming back from Perissa after a few drinks! The bus stop was right outside the hotel so it was really useful going to Fira - the capital. It normal took about 40 mins to go to Fira and 20 mins coming back (they used another route). Always try to eat/drink local products as exports cost nearly double the price.
