is a bit that i'd like to write about my experience there, in Apanema. The hotel is relaxing, comfortable as if you are in your own propiety, the staff and the owners are friendly, more than discrete and pay very attention to your own privacy, but being ready to give you helpfull suggestions on what to dio and how to do there
I was there in june, between 15th and 25th . the island was beginning to wake up from spring and there was not that crowded
the atmosphere was intimate and the weather wonderfull
the rooms are clean, essentials but furnished and decorated with style
the only thing that didn't work was the hair dryer but, is not a big problem for a man
maybe for a lady
i was there with a cauple of girls , friends of mine who are models, they appriciate a lot
breakfast is very good , well made and the waiter (angelo i gess ) is very friendly and try to make you feel a friend

the sunset is amazing , expecially laying on a bench in the poolside or uo in the terrace of room nr. 5 ( i gess , the first room on the left side watching the hotel from the parking area ) with direct ses view
mykonos center is very near, you can easly walk there
no need to use bike or car for night in the center

i spend a wonderfull experience there
i always remeber it as an intimate secret ,

What can I say but only the best about our stay at the "Apanema Resort Hotel" - The atmosphere - The ambience - The friendliest staff - All welcoming you to have the best & enjoyable stay - Accommodating in every way possible - The Owner of the Hotel himself "Kriton" goes out of his way & makes the best effort possible to please ALL of his guests - He makes your stay so much more relaxing.....HIs ease - His calmness - Humor & what he offers is just a "few" reasons why its a must to stay at this Hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Apanema for 4 nights in July. I don't think I have ever stayed at a more accomodating hotel. The owner and staff of this hotel anticipated our every need and treated us like we were long lost family who had just come home. We were given our choice of a beautiful room with the most breathtaking view, or a room directly off of the pool, that might not have had the same view, but was HUGE. We chose the larger room because of the amount of luggage we had and we were very pleased with our choice. The amazing mattress provided us with the best sleep we had had in ages, the food was great, and the service and not to mention the view were unbeatable. I highly recommend this hotel.

My adult daughter and I have just returned from a warm and wonderful stay at the Apanema Hotel. I chose it because I wanted to be near Mykonos town but not in it and this location was perfect. It was a 10 minute walk on the main road to all the activity of the town, yet quiet here for sleeping. Note: bring a small flashlight for walking on the road.
The room was very large by European standards, bright and sunny and well air conditioned and very comfortable. All face the sea either directly or from a side view. They also have some 2 bedroom suites for larger parties. Sunsets are perfect from this hotel.
Breakfast is served until 3PM by the wonderful Angelo who can't do enough for you. Everything in Mykonos starts about 3 hours later then in the US so it is a luxury not to rush to breakfast.
Katarina on the desk is knowledgable about everything, will help with dinner reservations, car rental and attends to all your needs.
I would say the Apanema is upscale chic and is a combination of hotel/B&B as there is no restaurant at night, but certainly a full bar that goes until you go to bed.
The seamless pool overlooks the sea in front of you, but there is no beach here for swimming.
The aforementioned Greek God is Kriton who is the owner of the hotel. He is most hospitable, always there to help your stay be as successful as possible, greets each of the guests personally and before you know it, you know all the other guests that are staying there as well.
The hotel is built right on the road but is set back so that it is not seen or heard. The only downside is there is landfill on the other side of the road that is not pretty, but certainly not a reason that would ever keep me from going back .
I highly recommend this hotel to all.
