My friend and I stayed only one night at the Elena Hotel but found it very comfortable. The twin room we had was very clean, the bathroom was well stocked, and there was a little balcony with a fantastic view of the town and the sea.

The breakfast buffet was the best we had during our travels in Greece. It boasts a huge variety and was very tasty. We ate out on the veranda in the front of the hotel, but there were plenty of tables inside as well.

The hotel has free internet access in the lobby. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The location is just outside the main part of town, which makes it a little quieter, and is only a 5-10 minute walk to the "maze". The hotel is at the bottom of a rather steep hill, so we were advised to wheel our luggage in front of us rather than behind us on the way down. The hotel itself is like a little maze of stairs and doors, which is really neat if you don't have problems climbing or lifting your luggage.

If I get the chance to visit Mykonos again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

Every year we stay 2 times (June/September) for one week in Myconos, Hotel Elena is one of the best hotels near the "city-centre" however in a quite location. Breakfast is one of the best I have seen in Greece even when you compare it to the 5 star hotels. Very friendly staff.

This was a fantastic place. I was just there with a large college tour group and we loved it. It has a very bed and breakfast feel to it since it has less than 30 rooms. Every room provides a fantastic view of some part of the island. We found that the rooms varied greatly (fridge, size, decor, shower/tub) from room to room but all were great. The only thing that we really ran into a problem with is that it is hard to get to (the main road of the island is several feet away and the hotel isnt directly accessiible by vehicle) but this is a common problem with anywhere u go on the island. There are also a lot of stairs throughout the hotel so luggage is a bit of a hassle but the housekeeping women are very strong and willing to help you haul your luggage around. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and the staff there is more than accomodating. (they offered to go to another hotel for us when they ran out of ice late at night) I higlhy recommend having a rooftop gathering to watch the sunset. We did that our last evening there and it was defintely the highlight of our trip. There is pay-per-hour internet access in the lobby of the hotel wich is very convenient. The overall location of the hotel is convenient since it is about a 10 minute walk to the main part of town and the harbor. The path is very cute and traditional of the streets throughout Mykononos. About a five minute walk away there is also a well appointed super market (keep in mind that the european idea of a "super" market is roughly the size of a small 7-11) I definetly recomend the hotel and its location. Also if you go, I reccomend the restaurants along the harbor or "Nautilus." "The Workshop" is also a great jewelry store with unique finds at decent prices.
