My wife and I we were quite hungry following a fairly long walk from the cruise ship port of Mykonos. Once we got to the edge of the village, it dawned on us that to avoid the touristy eateries, we needed to walk into the innards of town where we easily stumbled onto Spilia, a family-run café. We were able to peruse the menu left open on the window ledge and were quickly convinced that, as per our lunch theme for this cruise, this was the "sandwich and beer" place for us. She had a chicken and I, a pork gyros and both were loaded with grilled veggies. We were most happy with the conviviality of the lady running the place.
