“Fabulous food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

Mykonos is expensive, so surprise to most people. If you want real Greek food for a reasonable price come here. Family owned and the food is delicious.

Service was wonderful and attentive as well. Do not come here if you are expecting luxury. It's not fancy or fussy. The food, location, and service is fabulous.

“Reasonable, clean, no-nonsense food in Mykonos Town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Spilia is one of those rare restaurants in Mykonos where one can eat well and pay reasonable prices. On the main drag of the island (Matoyanni which turns into Enoplon Dinameon), the place is so humble-looking that one could take it for a fast-food tavern.

Yet, the food is wonderful and the service tremendous. The family that has owned the restaurant has its own farm and most meals are cooked with their homegrown ingredients. Try the fried calamari, the Greek salad, the moussaka, the fries. This is a place where one feels truly welcome.
Complimentary Wi-Fi.

My wife and I visit Mykonos annually in June....we NEVER miss SPILIA.....the food is great...home cooked, truly....on ongoing joke is that when we need a 2nd tin of wine, I blame my Wifes "drinking problem"....the owner (woman) delivers the 2nd and declares, "Me Too"....really fun! Lovely family. Dont miss SPILIA...

“the best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

if you want to try tradiional homemade food you are in the right place. it has very nice greek food (like mousaka- gemista-imam)in very good price about 7euro/plate , but also it has steaks, gyros and souvlaki and whatever you desire you can find it there(try the traditional myconian cheese ) . The staff is exeptional- is family bussiness with very kind people. The vegetables are organic from their own garden and so very tasty. There is no view...but has the best value for money in Mykonos. We ate there about 6 times and was always perfect.

“Value for money-like being in yiayia's kitchen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013 via mobile

Stumbled upon this tiny eatery in the middle of Mykonos towns endless winding streets. For 4 tired, hot and hungry backpackers it was like heaven. Tasty authentic greek gyros and souvlaki for 2.50 euros hit the spot, and paired with a friendly owner and decor like you where sitting in your yiayia's kitchen, it was a nice escape from the Mykonos heat. To top it off, we where informed that all the produce was grown on a farm belonging to the same owners, and we could visit the farm if we wanted! I couldn't have felt more at home! Only problem is finding it in the winding streets, good luck!
