If you love the sea, Provalma has the most spectacular setting you can imagine, with views of the ocean and other islands to both left and right. Yiannis and his mother were kind and helpful hosts without ever being obtrusive. Don't think of staying here if you're looking for shopping or classy restaurants, but if you're idea of a holiday is relaxing by the pool with a book and stunning views during the day, then eating the local specialities at night, then look no further.
On the minus side, the breakfast supplies, while home-made and tasty, are on the frugal side and the nearest food shop/restaurant is about 15 minutes' walk away, so most visitors will want to hire a car to get around.
If you do decide this is the place for you, and you go our for dinner in Ano Meria, don' t walk past Irini’s thinking it’s just a shop. You will dine on the same food as her family and friends in a lovely friendly atmosphere.
