“one of the best beaches-if one doesnt mind pebbles”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

Not a sandy beach-which can be a challenge for naked feet-but the clarity, freshness and brilliance of the water and the light reflecting over it more than compensate. A beautiful location, often gives the impression it is a lake. Unreservedly recommended!

“Try the boat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

While I was in Amorgos it was too windy but the beach of Agios Pavlos is covered from the wind due to the island of Nicouria. try taking the boat to cross you to the two beached of Nicouria. Quiet shores where you can here only the wave on the shore!

“A sandy tongue beach”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

Not far from Aigiali, only 5kms, on the way to Chora, this small sandy beach with the strange shape is lying opposite Nikouria Island.
It's usually quiet and a tavern on top offers local specialities.
It's protected by the wind usually blows in the island.

“NIce and calm place for swimming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

Take the boat out to the island Nikouria. Eat at Dimitris taverna after coming back. And if you are smart - rent a room in Agios Pavlos Studios for a night or 10.
I have been in Amorgos so many times, and I always come back to theese places.
