“A MUST TO VISIT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

The Old Venetian Harbour is beautiful, very much like the Chania Harbour, but smaller. Plenty of shops, restaurants to choose from. The place comes alive in the evenings, with people just roaming the old cobbled streets or eating or just taking in the scenery with a drink watching the sunset. A delightful place.

“really special”

great choice of seafood served right at the waters edge in the old port buildings and quay side, not cheap but worth every penny

“Run as fast as you can”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

Although the harbour and it's lighthouse are beautiful (even though it's not quite like Chania), it is a nightmare to walk along its rustic quay. Every few steps you get pestered by the owners and waiters of the restaurants who think they know how to charm the hungry and thirsty throngs.
But sadly (although I did get a drink there myself) I found a pretty annoying.

“A lovely small harbour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

Lovely small harbour with access to the lighthouse along a path (although not very safe!). Varied fish restaurants, but a bit pricey and pushy staff trying to get you to eat.
