Like some other customers I felt our meal was a little rushed. We were planning on ordering a dessert but before we got the chance we were presented with our free raki and a slice of (admittedly delicious) coconut cake, something that usually happens only when you ask for the bill. Everywhere else in Rethymno it seems that they will allow you to sit endlessly with your wine before paying the bill if you want to. That said, the food was very good especially the green vegetable balls and it's one of the few places which offers a vegetarian moussaka. Personally I didn't mind the free range kitties wandering around (I didn't see any "begging for scraps") but I understand it might not be as relaxing for others who may not like cats.
