the hotel looked nice in the pictures and lived up to our expectations on arrival. it was a perfect place for our girls holiday as it was located in a beautiful island, surrounded by amazing clear water and excellent beaches. the nightlife was not a long walk away which was useful for us to travel as we d not have to spend our money on cabs. the night is upbeat whilst the days were relaxing, although there were plenty of opportunities for watersports and sight seeing. overall it was a very enjoyable holiday for me n my friends. it was safe and sunny!

We stayed there for 2 nights in 2 different rooms - they are spacious and clean. The a/c is strong which I like very much. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is close to the main bus station and ferry port and the main square. We paid only 70Euro a night, which was quite a good deal.

The rooms were just renovated and were great. The hotel is located on a quieter street but very close to the city's main square. The rooftop patio had great views over the city. The breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful with tourist information. Great value!

As noted in other reviews, we ferried to Crete, staying overnite at the charming and quiet Hotel Kastro as part of an island hopping trip from athens to naxos, santorini, and crete. The Kastro's rooms were renovated last year, are clean, spacious, the breakfeast buffet is generous, the lobby and hallways re bright and well lit, and hotel staff were free with good advice on restaurants and things to do. We spent the morning in the world class National Archeological Museum understanding Minoan culture and then visited the reconstructed Knossos Palace by a 20-minute bus ride on the #2 bus departing from Lions Square which is 3 blocks from the hotel.jo. Several nice restaurants are located on the Vronos/Byron pedestrian street, and many cafes surround Lions Square.
