My husband and I stayed 3 nights in Heraklion at the Poseidon Hotel. Let me start by saying that the one good thing about the hotel is the breakfast. The hotel has a good view of the harbour, if you like commercial vessels. Our room was small but clean with a balcony. The bathroom was horrible and small. The worst thing about this hotel is that it is right in the flight path of most planes flying out of the airport, which is not far away. The noise level is intolerable ! There are many other hotels, at the same price which offer more peace and quiet. I would never stay there again.

I was searching for hotels in Rethymnon when I came across this quaint hotel on the beach so I decided to try it. I liked the convience of the location. The view was spectacular. The decor and comfort were excellent. The service of the family run hotel was friendly and efficient. I will definately go back!
