I live in Heraklion. This place is a traditional greek 'meze' place. Do not expect any formalities or a spacy restaurant. It is small, not so comfy and quite dark. But once you get in you will relax and enjoy yourself.
The plates are small but very tasty and also cheap (It is a place that a lot of students prefer for their dinner.) All the apetizers are homemade. I strongly suggest potatoes from the oven, stuffed meatballs and aubergine-burek.
Overall it is a meze-place that you will remember for a long time and when the check arrives you will think that these guys cannot calculate. Lychnostatis for the win.
