i have just returned from my 2 week stay in the elounda princess hotel. the hotel is a disgrace. when i arrived at 1.30am i was told that i was not booked in until the following day.i was told to come back at 6am and a room would be ready for me.it wsnn't ready until 8.10.i had to spend the night on a seat in the village square from 1am till 6am.when i got a room at 8.10am i was told it would only be for 3 hours and then i would have to move to another room. this second room was unsatisfactory--dirty,cracked tiles,no soap. no coat hangers, no glass. mext day i moved toa third room.slightly betterbut still didn't have soap etc. there was one socket (thers was another high up on the wall which i assumed was for a television).there was no phone,no airconditioning(although there were holes in a compartment which suggest they had thought about putting in)and of course no television.i was 3 days before i got soap and coathangers and even then i had to go down several flights to collect them myself.there wasn't a lift.i had to over 60 steps from my room to the restaurant.there were over 120 steps to get to the pool--but you would not want to as the water was green and pool bar had one font and very little else. i could go on.
