“Still Great!”

My favourite restaurant in Elounda, and so pleased to see it's still going strong. Menu as delicious as ever, with a friendly family atmosphere waiting to welcome me with open arms.... I love this place!

“Amazing Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

This is the best restaurant in Elounda.
Brilliant Staff, run by the lovely Manolis and his amazingly talent wife who is the chef in the Kitchen.
If you go past this restaurant, go in whether it be just for a drink or to sample something off the menu it is fantastic. If you want traditional Greek and Cretan Food this is the place to come.

Nothing is too much for these guys.
We are working over here and all of staff look after us so well.
If you are in the area I thoroughly recommend that you pop in to say hello!

“Thea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2012

We found The Thea restaurant out walking. Family run and very friendly genuine service.

Amazing food! (seriously good - I mean it - to get food of this quaility in the UK you'd be paying much, much more.....).

All cooked using local ingredients and the 'magical' Crete olive oil. Try the moussaka! You won't forget it.

Manolis the owner is a real character and great company. Wine free flowing (often on the house).

Try the chocolate cake - truly amazing with a mint leaf.

This is seriously good Greek food at its best at good prices.

You won’t be sorry you went but you will if you don’t!

WELL DONE MANOLIS! 

‘Stavros.’

“Friendliest restaurant in Elounda”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2012

Do not walk past this restaurant or you will miss a treat. The manager and staff are passionate about their restaurant and make you feel very welcome. We ate there for dinner twice when staying at a nearby hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The food is fresh, well cooked, authentic and attractively presented. Much better quality and value than the hotel and only a 15 minute walk away. The manager cooked the best ever crepes suzette at the table and they were delicious. The fish dishes and the lamb kleftico were also great choices. The restaurant has free wi-fi, so you could stop by for a beer or coffee (and a slice of delicious chocolate cake!) and check your emails. They also serve some excellent Cretan wines. It will be number 1 on my list to revisit when we return to Elounda.
