“Great place ,well worth bookng”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Daniel the owner is English and services front of house with his partner. Not the largest menu but still a good choice and everything is cooked fresh and unusually in Greece is served pipeing hot. Great fish and Greek dishes really good in a lovely atmosphere looking over the sea.

“Should be Number One”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Visited Elounda for the third time and once again found this restaurant to be excellent. We ate here on three occasions and each time was more than satisfied with the food, service and surroundings. This is a very small, intimate restaurant which serves good quality food. As you can see by my excellent rating, I would not like to criticise but would like to suggest maybe a specials board to give a bit of variation on the menu. Greek restaurants are getting better and more competetive - Daniel have a look at Essence in Kalamaki, Zante for some ideas. Hope to see you and Andrea again.

“Wish I could say more”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

Didn't even make it to a table, so cannot comment on the food, service etc. All I can let you know is that as we were unfortunately a party of 7 the rather pretentious Englishman (hope he is not the owner), told us "we are small and only really deal with couples who are looking for a romantic night and not large families" (we were all aged between 30-60) So if you are over their regulation 2 in party size, I would suggest you go on to the Ergospasio, or The Ferry Man, or even go back to the harbour to Porto Rino, all are excellent and more than happy to accommodate people who also like at times, to holiday with their families and friends.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

The location, ambience, service and food were all excellent. Traditional Cretan food meets Mediterranean, fresh ingredients, well presented and tasty. It's relatively small and nearly all seating is outside and it's wise to book if you want to dine on a specific date and time. There were lots of returning diners and the hosts were friendly to new and previous diners. We enjoyed the prawn saganaki and cheese saganaki, the best.
