“Very nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

We spend one week in this hotel. We were two adult. Nice environment, well maintained, clean, cozy and very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. We also had one dinner at the hotel a la Carte restaurant and the food was very tasty. Best lamb chops in Agia Marina. Facilities for kids seems to be fantastic, nice playground and a playhotel area. Hotel is located close to other restaurants, shopping and to the beach.

Room Tip: Balcony is better than terass.

Can really recommend Stefan Village - perfect for families with smaller children.
It is very well maintained, clean and tidy - typical Mediterranean plants are climbing buildings and planted in the garden. Facilities for kids are just fantastic, very nice playground and a 'playhotel' area that is good fun. All in all very cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Did not dine at hotel so can't say anything about the food more than the breakfast that was kind of average. The area and beach around Agia marina is perhaps not the best in Crete but Platanias is in walking distance and has more to offer.

We spent a wonderful week at this hotel. Very nice environment, neat and clean and cozy! Several areas for children to enjoy. Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent breakfast. Close to shopping and beach, you walk easily to both Agia Marina and Platanias.

An excellent resort stress relief from everyday life with good food and service.
Great location close to both the beach and shopping. A walk before breakfast is that's recommended when the surroundings are pleasant and easy to walk in, also the breakfast tastes much better.

.

Room Tip: Main pillows were too hard and enlarge. Should existed choice.

Very friendly staff, espesially those working in the restaurant. Always very clean and tidy and the hotel has a really good atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was very good and continuesly served food at better quality than most of the other beach-restaurants in Agia Marina (but the pizza could be improved, cut back on the cheese and bake at a higher temp. Crisp is good :))

Absolutely a very pleasant stay, and very nice for a family with small children.

Room Tip: We had a really nice view of the pool. Recomended!

Good service, nice sorroundings, clean and spacey rooms, many activities for children suchs as playgrounds (both indoors and outdoors), 4 different pools of which 2 of them are very childfriendly. Good breakfast and good food in the resturant. After being 10 times in Greece this is the best hotel I`ve been at and several of the others costed far more. Included aircondition is very good, actually I have had to pay extra for this everywhere else, even in much more expensive hotels. The only negative things are that it`s impossible to get the bedrooms dark in the night. Better curtains would have been a good investment.

Room Tip: Due to lack of elevators, if you travel with small children and need a stroller, choose the groundfl...
