“Didn't meet my expectations”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

I had read Tripadvisor reviews and expected a lot. First thing I noticed was that the prices were a bit higher than in the other restaurants all over Crete we had visited during our one week trip. They didn't offer any water for free unlike many other restaurants. The food was okay but compared to other places which were cheaper, the price-quality ratio was not good. There are better and nicer places to eat in Chania, for example on the streets called 'Potie' and 'Iosif Sifaka'.

“Enjoyed our lunch”

The milieu was pittoresque, especially the interiors. Our dishes were large and very tasty. Customer service was decent. Recommended!

“Recommended to us and well worth it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013 via mobile

We arrived Chania after dark and needed some good food. This is near our hotel and the hotel manager reported that the hotel staff eats there too. Really good call on their part. We tried three very Greek appetizers to share which were all excellent and then had four pretty diverse dishes: grilled octopus, mushroom ravioli, pasta with chicken and a cheeseburger for our youngest. The food was very good, although the grilled octopus did not seem freshly cooked. The cheeseburger, like many in Europe, will not satisfy some Americans' tastes. It is more like Meatloaf, but was very good. The pastas were excellent. And we had the very best garlic bread we've ever had with some nice tzatziki on the side. We were not going to get dessert simply because we had so much food at the front end of the meal, but our waiter treated us to some good panna cotta and offered raki. We didn't feel like raki, and ordered three Greek coffees, which he then made complimentary instead despite our insistence to pay for those. Overall, the meal was a good value and good food.

“Outstanding in every respect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

We visited this restaurant based on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. It is situated at the top of the most amazing small street which is lovely. The service was great and they were not pushy but helpful and relaxed whilst being professional - difficult to do. The food was fantastic-I would recommend the fish - I had fresh tuna and it was melt in the mouth wonderful! Starters were also good and the wine was very reasonably priced (6Euros for 500mls). The food was also very well priced with good portions. If you are staying in or around Chania you cannot afford to miss this one.
