“Delicious food and excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

A cosy restaurant run by a very friendly family. The meals were made of local ingredients and tasted deliciously. The hospitality, atmosphere and food at this restauran tcontributed to this being a very nice first visit to Crete for us.

“Invited by cats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

The restaurant is located in a little square between narrow streets, old houses, almost in front of the small Orthodox chapel. It took our attention during an evening stroll thanks to five funny cats begging for food under the tables. They looked hilarious.
The staff was welcoming and spoke in English and French. We took only one starter (a set of 4 local dips) and the traditional Cretan tea.
The food was ok but the atmosphere was great. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner.

A gem loved the setting and everything about this place. We sat outside by the wall, we were looked after well and felt the food was extremely good. The evening was for us perfect. Thank you

“if you can find it....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

As the Air Force component on a Canadian warship we would plan departmental dinners in each port, just to get away from our navy cousins for an evening. For Souda Bay/Chania we chose this restaurant. Maybe it was because we had been eating ships food for 35 days, but I must say the food was amazing. While not cheap it was reasonable and much better quality and value than the restaurants around the harbour. So go for a stroll down by the water, have a beer at one of the restaurants there, but I would recommend you wander back here for supper, ......if you can find it.
