Tamam was recommended to me via twitter, we visited August 2013 and walked past around midday and there were plenty of seats outside - we went back about an hour or so later and it was a lot busier, but we managed to get a seat inside. The portions were large, my 14 year old had stuffed burgers, I had lamb fillet and pita and it was gorgeous - tender lamb, superbly cooked. I wish I'd asked about the fish of the day - I had restaurant envy over someone's swordfish. Couldn't manage a pudding, I was stuffed. I enjoyed it, my semi-fussy-eater teenager enjoyed it - I'd definitely visit again and recommended it to others at my resort further west of Crete who were looking for good places to eat. Price-wise it came in at about the same as other less memorable taverna's we ate at during the holiday, I think I paid around 20-25 Euros for mains, drinks and wine
