“great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

I visited the Cretan olive oil farm with my family, and we founded so exciting and interesting. We bought lots of traditional cretan products that we couldnt find in other places. The people that work there are very friendly and helpfull, and they dont push you to buy their products. They explain you every thing that you ask, and in general, they try their best to help you.If we ever go back to Aghios Nikolaos , we definately go there again.I would tell people to visit this place. Its on the way from Aghios Nikolaos to Elounda, next to Mirabello hotel.

“More of a museum than a working 'farm'”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

As this was only a few minutes from our hotel it seems a shame not to visit.
The young chap who showed us around was very enthusiastic and was obviously proud of his family's business which had been going for a few generations.
The olive oil we bought was really top quality.

“Fascinating family business with history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Very informative tour from a young man whose grandfather used the donkey-powered olive press and the ancient raki-still. Huge range of excellent products which you can taste before you buy. No need for salesmanship - the products sell themselves. Try the caper paste!

“Learned a lot!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

We also had the sense that this little place should be renamed as a museum. We learned a lot from both the owner and his son about olive oil production and labeling. Their olive oil is fantastic. We brought some home and had it last night and it was such a treat! Hope to order from them as their shipping and prices are quite reasonable. We walked their from Aghios....a bit longer walked than advertised! Took a cab back. Definitely worth the trek!
