“Don't Miss Delphi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

I'm glad I decided to visit Delphi-- the ruins are amazing (the main sights are the Temple of Apollo where the oracle once prophesied, the ancient theater, and ancient stadium). There are spectacular views of the countryside/sea and I enjoyed the museum as well. The modern town of Delphi is a very short walk to the ruins and it's charming and pleasant to walk through and many restaurants to choose from. The Hotel Fedriades was an excellent budget choice and I loved the view from my room. Greece is the most beautiful country in Europe and Greeks are Europe's friendliest people, so don't miss Delphi!

The Fedriades Hotel in Delphi was a lovely place to stay, the staff were particularly friendly and the room was very clean. I was staying in Delphi to do university research and the advice and information provided in the hotel about the archaeological sites was very useful. Fedriades had some of the best staff that I have encountered in a hotel and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

In August my wife and I visited Delphi, Greece. It is a magical place that should not be missed during a visit to Greece. Fedriades was an excellent choice, centrally located and a walking distance from the museum and site. But the most important was the greek filoxenia (i.e, hospitality) offered by the hotel staff providing all the information we needed and the attemptive care during breakfast which included all the greek local products such as olives, tomatoes, eggs and youghurt. Another highlight was the cost-benefit : air conditioned rooms, safe, free wifi and some rooms with a fantastic view of the valley and sea below. Visiting the site do not forget to visit the Athina temple, the Kastalia springs and to get a view of the giminasium from above.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the third floor with a view.

The hotel is very well located in the center of Delphi and offers a wonderful view on the seaside. The staff was extremely friendly and kindly upgraded us to a room with seaview. It is worth mentioning that because of new buildings on the other side of the street, the seaview is now restricted to some of the rooms.
The staff was very helpful communicating the archeological sites opening hours as well as the interest of visiting the closeby monastery with bizantin mosaiques.
The breakfast was fine - a little bit "industrial" though.

The hotel is located in the centre of Delphi (which only has 3 streets!) and hosts a view of the cost that on the morning will take your breath away!
I would only stay 1-night but the service was friendly & the hotel is a 10min walk from the Delphi museum and historical site

We stayed in this hotel in July while visiting Delphi. We were a group of four friends (all men) from the United States touring Greece with a rental car. We had two rooms, We were very pleased with the rooms (clean, comfortable beds, amazing views of the valley and Gulf of Corinth). Jimmy was a great host and made everyone feel very welcome from the moment we arrived (late night after a long drive from Meteora). Jimmy pointed out a local tavern down the street (Gargantua) that was open very late, where we had a fantastic dinner sampling local BBQ meats and wine. The breakfast at the hotel the next morning was nice and included a variety of local produce and dairy products. The price for the rooms was very attarctive and the service was excellent. We had a great lunch the next day at Iniohos resataurant near the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view towards the valley. The views are amazing!

Stayed here one night while visiting Delphi. We arrived mid-afternoon, only to discover that the ancient site and museum had just closed at 3 pm. The desk clerk helpfully suggested visiting the Byzantine monastery nearby -- a gorgeous UNESCO heritage site that we would otherwise have overlooked. The hotel itself is a little dated, but has terrific views, comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast. Quiet, despite being on one of the two main streets in town.
