“not a four star hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

stayed there for 6 nights - excellent location, 15min walk from Syntagma square. very helpfull and nice staff, always available for help and very kind. spacious apartment, good, firm beds, always clean, every day clean towels. roomkeeper kept track of when we went out, and came in to clean when we were not there.

on the minus side - rooms outlooking the main street are extremly loud, even though they have good windows, the noise is awfull. be sure to bring ear plugs. breakfast is extremly poor and every day the same, we stopped eating it after two days and made our own one in apartmant. even though there is a kitchen, there are no washing equipment, and the dishes are dirty and not in a good shape. also, they are not complete, only some glasses and plates. there is a TV but not good signal.

it is a nice neighbourhood, lots of restaurants, grocery shop near.

it is a decent hotel, but does not justifie 4 stars.

Great location, good service, great view (5th floor facing Vas. Alexandrou), spartan yet clean and spacious room. Small breakfast area, can do better with variety. Paper thin walls, you will be in trouble if the couple next door decides to fight.

A friendly recommendation to the hotel: Since you advertise the place as apartments please consider providing dishwasher. And you offer a spectacular balcony but no coffee maker in the room? Little things make a big difference. With a little investment in fixtures you can turn one's stay into a more enjoyable experience.

I stayed at the hotel for one night before flying out from the airport the next morning. Arriving at midnight, I found the hotel average, worn and in need of updating, but clean and the price was right. I had to ask for the WiFi password which is complimentary, even though the receipt said 10 Euros. The room was spacious enough, bathroom with a shower and spotless. The mattresses were the usual uncomfortable firmness. There was a 27 inch flat screen. There's a breakfast buffet served in the morning that is very nice with cold cuts, juices, coffee, hard boiled eggs..etc.

I went to sleep only to be woken up by a Greek couple fighting next door. Her crying, his screaming, moving furniture, slamming doors...this went on and off for 2 hours. The management came and tried to address the issue but they kept on slamming the front occasionally until 230 a.m. until I couldn't take it anymore. I yelled at them. I was tired enough to sleep on my flight home.

Room Tip: I had the view of the atrium. Don't get the atrium view if you can help it.

we visited delice hotel apartments at september, we took 3 rooms: 2 double room that was a little small to my opinion and one suite for 2 adults and 2 kids. the suite was very good and much bigger, it has 2 big bedrooms, livingroom, bathroom, kitchen and a big veranda.
the hotel is 5 minutes from the center (flaka area) and the taxi takes only 3 to 4 euro for this ride.
the breakfest was just o.k. very simple.
over all it is a nice hotel to visit when in athens.

Room Tip: when staying at this hotel take the suit, they are much bigger.

We were a family of four and stayed here twice. The apartment on the fourth floor was easily accessed by an elevator. The bedroom was spacious and immaculately clean with plenty of storage. The living room had two comfortable regular beds for our adult children. Both rooms had separate split ACs and shared a small balcony overlooking the street in front. Having the 4 seat dining separate from both the living and kitchen was a big advantage. The kitchen was equipped with stove and fridge but lacked a microwave. Cooking utensils were limited. Groceries were available just across the street at the Proton super market. There was a metro station within walking distance but most sightseeing and shopping could be reached by taxi in 5 Euros.

Room Tip: The higher floors would have less noise of traffic.

The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. My room was spacious and very clean. The décor was not modern, but the room was well equipped with a fridge, kettle, AC, and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The bed was very comfortable, and I heard no noise from outside the hotel (I was on the 3rd floor at the back) and very little from inside (only children shouting in the corridor one morning). There was a small private balcony, although there was no chair to sit on out there. I happened to pass by one of the apartments that was being cleaned after it had been vacated, and it looked to be very large.

Breakfast was included in my room rate - it was a small but adequate buffet. The hotel offers free WiFi, but you need to be aware that it comes in 5 hour blocks, and if you don't log out after each use, the system assumes you are still using the WiFi and your login details expire. However the staff will supply a new login on request.

I've stayed in several different hotels and apartments in Athens, and this hotel compares very favourably with previous visits. The location is convenient for the metro, and as others have said, it's easy enough to walk to the city centre. There are several cafes, restaurants and small supermarkets close by, without all the noise and bustle of Syntagma.

Room Tip: My 3rd floor room at the back was not noisy at all
