“excellent position and helpful staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The hotel has an excellent position, at walking distance from everything in Athens. The underground and a bus coming straight from the airport stop at Syntagma, it is on the border of Plaka, close to the city hall.
It has a free wi-fi connection, excellent breakfast, comfortable sofas in the hall.
It provides rooms up to 4 beds (like ours).

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the top floors, they probably have a better view.

An excellent 3-star hotel at the very centre of Athens. Clean and spacious rooms, warm and comfortable. Free wifi everywhere. Easy access to public transport. Very helpful staff, always willing to render excellent service. It will surely be our choice for whenever we return to Athens.

This is a basic hotel - no bells and whistles, at least for the price we paid. Our stay was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The location is unbeatable - it is in walking distance to the Acropolis.

The hotel is small but it is in a great location that makes seeing all the landmarks very easy. It's also very close to the nightlife but I didn't hear any noise. It's close to the metro 3 which means one can get a train from the airport direct into the city.

Small and friendly hotel ideally placed near Syntagma Square. Plenty of restaurants and shops around. Hotel was clean and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nothing flash but very clean and had everything you would want for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a standard continental breakfast and more than adequate for our needs.
Please be careful on Metro. We got metro from airport to Syntagma Square. My husband and a colleague travelling with us both had their wallets stolen as they got off the metro!!

Room Tip: We were on 8th floor with a small balcony and had virtually no road noise. Our friends had room at...

Dear magpiemaggie,

Thank you for sharing the experience of your stay in Pan Hotel in TripAdvisor. We are happy you enjoyed our hotel, the breakfast, the service, the location. We were sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience in the Metro, which as in all cities needs a little more carefulness. We hope this will not keep you from visiting Athens and why not our hotel again!

Hi everybody
I stayed 3 nights in Pan Hotel, it was really comfortable, my room was very quiet and so clean and everything was in order. The Hotel personnel were very polite and they were answering every question I was asking about the addresses very patiently, really thank them.
The breakfast also was nice, even me as a vegetarian, was very satisfied with it.
The very good concept of the hotel is its location which is very near to most of the historical and touristic places, Metro, airport buses, tramway and also all the lovely bars and restaurant inside the different streets around the hotel, you can reach all these by just walking!
As I understood that part of the city is the most important place for night life because everybody in the city who wants to hangout at night, come to the numerous lovely clubs and bars, so the location is really really nice. and there is no end to night in those live streets.
For those who are vegetarian I have to say that there is a lovely and well-known vegetarian and vegan restaurant just one street before the hotel (NIKIS St) by the name of Avocado.
I had lovely time in this hotel and if I visit Athens again, It'd be my choice again. Thank you Pan Hotel :)

Room Tip: Rooms not near the street are quiet
