Stayed at the O&B during my honeymoon at the end of June for 2 nights, then again one more night after returning from the islands. The hotel arranged for taxi transfers for us from the airport which was great to not have to worry about how to get there.
The staff was super friendly and able to give advice to us about how to get places, where to eat, etc. Definitely check out Kuzina and Filistron for dinner - awesome food!
Great location, the street, as others mentioned, isnt the prettiest but who cares. As a Philly girl I'm used to it - lol. It was a very safe area though, I never felt unsafe ever in Athens. The hotel was in just a few minutes walk of plenty of shops, restaurants, the acropolis, agora, etc. Also close walk to the train station which is great and easy to use. There is an Irish pub called James Joyce right down the road (make a right out of the hotel, cross the street and you'll see it) where we watched the Euro Cup match, a lot of fun.
The first room we had was quite small but had a nice balcony with a view of Athens. The second room we had was larger, but no balcony or view which I'd prefer since who sits in the room all the time anyway. The bathrooms were wonderful and spacious showers, very nice.
The breakfast was the best!!!! Delicious and huge variety (and free!)
Def would stay here again!!!
