We sort of booked it by accident, and where a bit afraid after reading reports on the neighborhood. All in all it wasn't all that bad, but mind you if you are not accustomed to being a bit of a rough area this could be an issue for you. The hotel itself is fine and well worth the 18 euro's a night, you are close to the omonia subway station and there you can find breakfast options. We did not eat at the hotel. The wifi worked fine and if you are in good health you can walk to all the highlights, that's what we did. There are some bum's and junkies lying about but they did not seem to bother anyone.
