We went ot the Mediterranean Garden Society meeting in Kifisia. Welcome reception was held in basement where stuffed animals, shells, rocks etc were in glass cases.- very old fashioned museum look. Refreshments were served in lower level - elegant place. General meeting and lectures were held upstairs in contemporary auditorium. The patron of this museum attended our first session. Obviously held in high esteem by members of Society. The private garden at Sparoza is somehow related to her and the museum - didn't catch ther relationship.- but both places are beautiful. Wish we had time to visit the rest of the museum - did manage to stimulate the Greek economy in the lovely gift shop.
