“Smart handmade jewellery, natural stones, great quality, small price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

I have visited Athens Protasis shops in Athens and last summer in Santorini and Mykonos. I loved the design, very simple, classy and easy to wear. The natural colorful stones can be combined as you like and you can end with your own-customized jewel.
Prices are low for the value and service is excellent. The shop assistants are very helpfull and knowledgeable about the stones. Cool to know that this is all Greek!!!

“Beautiful and classy shop - definitely worth a visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Athens Protasis is like a breath of fresh air when walking through plaka as you seem to come across the same very traditional merchandise again and again. the great thing about the shop is that you can buy a gift for someone which is classy and very reasonably priced which also says 'from Greece' in a very distinct way (i bought the bracelets that have the molten rock). Now i know my friends will wear them and not have to deal with a 'I love Greece' fridge magnet!!

“DO NOT SHOP FROM THEM....”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

worst shopping experience ever...
we were in one of their shops...my god!!
i can understand greek and i could understand them, they were in contact, propably with the owner...
he was pushing them obviously to raise their sales.
than the sales person came to us (we were browsing in the mean time), pointed to us the most expensive item, which was bulls.... by the way, started forcing us to buy it, than insaulted us..
anyway, i didnt like anything
we discussed it with other people, that were with us and they said , they bought from them some jewelery, very cheap but the quality is awfull..

“Very bad”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Very bad and cheap things that are presented in a way that deceive for very good design pieces at low prices. Even 10 euros is a lot for something that worths nothing. That is how I see it.

“Great jewellery shop ...and not expensive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2012

Small jewellery store in Plaka area. All items are hand made, made from semi precious stones, coral or silver to name but a few materials.
The prices are extremely reasonable with turquoise or coral bracelets retailing from €7 upwards.
Very friendly service with no hard sell.
