This is an excellent budget hotel within walking distance to everwhere - Acropolis, Plaka, Syntagma Square etc.
The staff are friendly and helpful - giving us a map and recommending a route to take for our 1 day of exploring.
The area may not be considered the nicest in Athens - as mentioned there are ladys of the night at the top of the street so perhaps not the best place to stay if you have children or are by yourself, but as a couple we found it no problem at all.
The room was clean, but as said the bed was a little hard and it was a bit noisy but nothing too bad. The bathrrooms were very nice and new - but no attachment for the shower head which made showering a bit difficult.
Good breakfast for a 2 star and lovely roof terrace with views of the Acroplolis (also good for a cheap drink in the evening.
All in all considering what you pay and that it is a 2 star, it is great value for money and I would definatly recommend it for a good quality budget hotel.
