We had a great stay at this Athens hotel. We got a good rate online--cheap for a Athens hotel, and WAY WAY below the rack rate for our rooms. (I think it was from expedia or hotels.com). The lobby and rooms were very stylish and clean. The ambiance is nice--there is pianist in the evenings. The rooms and bathrooms were very very spacious by European standards. There was free wifi in our rooms. The location is pretty good. It's a 10 minute walk to the subway, and then a short ride to the major tourist attractions. Or it's a quick taxi ride. Taxis are quite cheap in Athens (compared to American cities). For a family of four, the trip downtown was about the same price in a taxi as by metro. The front desk staff was very curteous.

Excellent staff, great room, clean with plenty of toiletries, including robe and your own slippers.

Arrived in Athens at one oc'clock in the morning after long day travelling. Hotel is 2 minute walk from bus stop on X95 route from airport.

We booked a 3 person Junior Suite at a very resonable rate. This was ideal for us and our (very fussy) 14 year old daughter. Extremely clean, airy and well equipped. The room had a balcony although no view to speak of if that's important to you).

Greeting at reception was very friendly, we were immediately offered a late checkout due to the lateness of our arrival.

Breakfast was extensive and first class. cooked and cold meats, eggs, cheese, fruit, cereal, toast, yoghurt, honey, champagne etc

To cap it all off, I realised a few days later; whilst sitting on a beach on Paros; that I'd left a favourite shirt hanging in the wardrobe. I sent a quick email from my blackberry asking if they would be so kind as to send it to my home in Scotland. On arrival home, there it was. Now that's what I call service.
