Terrific location in a beautiful and safe part of Athens in a room with an amazing view of the Acropolis. But for 75 E a night, you get what you pay for -- and we paid for a very spotty stay. The twin room was clean enough (if you don't count the carpeting), and the linens were fine. But we missed a wakeup call because the night clerk fell asleep -- and at least two evenings during our stay the electricity in the hotel went out for over 2 hours. That's fine during March.. but will it happen in June? Most of the front desk clerks were as helpful as they could be -- especially Irene. It was an OK place to stay for less than a week - but I wouldn't stay there again next year.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. It is by no means a high end hotel, but we were on a budget and wanted to travel Europe for a month, so the price was right. I could not have been happier with the hotel. It had amazing views of the Acropolis and the rooftop garden was very peaceful (do mind that the seating is in plastic lawn chairs, but this did not bother us). The hotel is tucked away from the extreamly busy parts of the city, but only by a few blocks.
There is a nice walkway that lines the Acropolis that is only two blocks away. It takes you right to the touristy part of the city (a short walk).
I would recomend this hotel to anyone who is not looking to spend a huge amount of money and is more interested in what is outside their hotel then what is). It provides a wonderful place to sleep and relax, isnt that what a hotel is for?

After hours on the Internet I chose this Hotel from tripadvisor and was disappointed that the first 3 nights were booked and I stayed at the Cecil. Not impressed with that hotel. So I was pleased to come here and impressed. Nice room with a great view. Despite the name most
rooms do not have a view, you get that from the roof and it has to be the best view in Athens. It is as close as you can get to the south side of the Acropolis and 400 metres from Acropoli metro station. Even
if you don't travel on the train go and see the copies of the Elgin Marbles at the station. I walked everywhere from this Hotel. The breakfast is very good. Toaster, choice of bread, muesli, corn flakes,
choice of tea bags., ham and cheese and fresh fruit. I went to Delphi overnight and despite confirming twice that I would have the same room on return I got another room with no view. Both receptionists blamed each other. I would stay here again.

This is a good hotel nicely situated in the Athens region, about 5 minutes walk from the Acropolis station. The hotel has a decent breakfast buffet (greek style). The front desk was helpful arranging day trips.

Bathrooms are compact sized (similar to most of europe), amenities and bed facilites would be 2 star in the US, but for the price and location, it's a good deal.

This hotel is in an excellent location. You cannot beat the price for what you get, but you cannot expect luxury for 100 euros. The rooms are very clean and the bathroom is remodeled, better than others in Greece. The views from the roof are amazing. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I am in Athens.
