If you are looking for an inexpensive good hotel this is the place.

We stayed at the Acropolis View Hotel for 4 days in September. It was WONDERFUL. Yes, they are small eupoean style hotel rooms with 2 singles as a king. As with most european hotels it was energy saving style, plug your key in to get A/C. I can see where in the heat of summer it could be a little hot maybe.

We had 2 rooms with Acropolis views. Both were nice, but REALLY small showers.

The place was very clean. New linens. Friendly staff.

Perfect location. 1 block from the Acropolis. 3 blocks from Metro, so you can take the train to and from the airport.

It is only 5-6 blocks to great restaurants.

Stayed for three nights, very pleased with the room and the breakfast was OK. The service at the reception desk was great when we checked in, the receptionist ( Maureta ) was very helpful in confirming tours. The view from the room was great.

Only 10 minutes from Acropolis. Our first room was great - clean and enough room. In our 2nd stay a few days later we got stuck in a very small closed room. Book but be careful about which room you get. Breakfast buffet good. Cost 95 euros.

The obvious hook for this hotel is its location which is bang at the foot of the acropolis. Apart from this, the hotel was not impressive considering that we stayed in 5 different hotels in Greece during our trip at similar rates. The staff is cordial but just about so. They were pretty nice in giving a small discount after we arrived as we stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast was quite dismal actually. Overall, it was an ok experience but apart from the location wouldnt recommend it for any reason.
