I recently stayed in this hotel for several nights while part of a work/study tour of Greece. Of the 7 hotels we stayed in it was one of the better ones. It is nicely appointed, the staff is friendly and helpful, and has an extremely convenient location right next to the Metaxaghiro/Karaiskaki Sq. Metro station. We found the MEtro to be immaculate, safem and very fast. In 3-4 stops you can reach the Plaka, Acropolis, Omonia Sq, or Monisitraki Sq which are some of the major tourist type destinations in the area. There is a secure ATM right around the corner. The rooftop pool/lounge area provides a rexaling time with greeat views of Athens and the Acropolis. The taxi stand on the corner of the street is helpful if you want to go somewhere not easily accessuible by Metro. The rooms are small but clean. We found that the rooms vary greatly in size and ammenities from one room to the next. The walls are extremely thin so things can get kind of noisy but there is an internal door that is good at blockin out some of the noise. The bathrooms are nice and the showers have fantastic water pressure. The buffet breakfast is one of the best we found and the downstairs bar serves good drinks but horrrible food. Kind of expensive tho...8 euros a drink in a lot of cases. I'd definetly stay there again tho...just with earplugs and my own bottle of vodka.
